Today Jones and Kinley did some fantastic artwork for us. They worked on it for 20 minutes. The entire time I didn't know Jones was working or a drawing of him and Maggie. So talented- just like his mom!

God Son II

I am lucky to be a God Mother to two little girls, but today I was a fairy God Mother to one very special little boy, Quinn. So sweet and I am so blessed to be able to watch him grow and hope he and Maggie are ever so special friends today and always. We celebrated mass before the baptism at the ever so classic and beautiful Sacred Heart in downtown Tampa. The church is at least 105 years old and doesn't look it at all.

This is a photo of Ann's parents. Her Dad Scott who Quinn's middle named after had a bone marrow transplant on Quinn's Birthday- literally within minutes of being born. God is so good!

The cake- if you think it looks phenomenal, than it tasted 100 times more awesome than it even looks! It was so awesome, not to mention BEAUTIFUL. I just wish I would have snuck some in my purse for the next day. Don't worry, God Mother Ann will be doing Maggie's 1st Birthday Cake.


Maggie wore a beautiful baby blue dress in honor of the baby boy of the hour- Quinn. Her Nana got it for her. Daddy kept her entertained by letting her smack the two story pillars in the middle of the church and fell asleep by the time it was over.

Lunch at Olga's

It was so wonderful to have lunch with two of my oldest friends and their families. We have been friends for longer than 2.5 DECADES. YES! more than 25 years and now we all have three beautiful girls. We had lunch and it was so great catching up with them! We may be getting older, but our friendship will surely last forever.
We had lunch at one of my favorite spots in Dade City-- Olga's.

Zander Birthday!

Happy Birthday Zander! We had a wonderful afternoon at his party! Rain couldn't keep the good times from being had. Maggie played so sweetly with his mountain of toys and her friends Emma, Lindsey, Mallory, and Ava. We love you Zander-man!

P.S- Photo above was at the end of the party. Kids were high on cupcakes and exhausted from playing all afternoon! Maggie fell asleep before we left the driveway!

Stage 4

Omg! We are moving up to Stage 4 diapers! We don't have an official weight, but do know her diapers are getting a bit snug. The box says for 22 pounds or more so I bet we are close to that by now!

Tonight she also double handed her bottle with out prompting! She is getting so big!

Birty Sid

I'm back. After a 30+ year hiatus, Birty Sid walked back into my life. He doesn't smell as baby fresh as I remember, since now I have a real baby, more cedar chest musty smell. He was wearing light blue jumpsuit with rainbow trim- Richard Simmons like. Maggie towers over him and will now be entertained by him the next several years. He was the real deal then and now.

Father's Day

Mike's first father's day started with Maggie giving him his plate and Minni Mouse Card. Then she helped Mommie make breakfast: pancakes, muffins and bacon. Then we to church and Maggie was so good! We had a lite lunch at BW3's and came home to hang out before he had to start work at 3:30. Grand Ma and Pap Pap came over for dinner and enjoyed a turkey, green bean casserole and mashed potatoes! Yum!

And I am busy these days pulling apart the big puzzle (my playmat) off the floor.












And all that work I usually take a great nap twice a day.

Top tooth

We have a top tooth!!! Maggie woke up at 5 am- not typical for her. And we were hanging out and she had her hands in her mouth- very typical and I said, "let me see in there" and then wow there it was. It is a very photogenic tooth- see above. It took weeks to get a shot of her bottom ones!
