As baby's dexterity and mobility improve, it becomes even more important to make sure she's kept away from sharp corners and open outlets. Once your home's been thoroughly baby-proofed, though, it's time to take a step back. Let baby creep, crawl, pull herself up, and yes, take some spills -- baby needs to take a tumble or two in order to learn how to walk.
Wow! I can't believe it has been 9 months! Here we are already! Here is quick update on where we are:
* Drinking five 6 ounce bottles a day
* Pacie is rare item. Only at nap time on rare occassions.
* At Lunch and Dinner eats 2 ounces of oatmeal and 4 ounces of a fruit or veggie.
* We started puffs. She crosses mid plane to grab them. Left hand seems to be dominate for now. They say they don't decide left or right quite some time.
* Drinks water only out of her handled sippy cup all by herself.
* Crawls..fast too!
* Pulls herself up to a standing position.
* Favorite toys: Exersaucer, Piano table, Tiger Hoop Balls
* Favorite Books: Peek-A-Boo, Hungry Catapillar, Baby Cakes, Brown Bear
* Wearing very little 12 month clothes- mostly 18 months and 24 months.
* Size 4 Pamper Cruiser Diapers
* Size 3 shoes
* Waves Hi!
* Feeds herself puffs
* Has dumped Buster's water dish twice. Buster was not happy.
* Went to the beach the first time.
Stats:
Weight: 21 pounds 3 ounces 90 percentile
Height: 30. 25 inches 97 percentile
Head: 17.3/4 90 percentile
In celebration of her 9 month birthday, we took a plane to Atlanta.
It was her first flight.
