Happy Birthday Olivia Jean!

Laurel and John went to the hospital at 4 am to get induced. Meanwhile, I was in Vero packing up and heading back to Tampa. I had such mixed emotions. I totally wanted to be there in St.Augustine. I still feel as if I missed something when I didn't make to my niece and nephew birthdays. I knew I would regret not being there. So after talking with Mike I mapped out the plan. We would drive back to Tampa (about 2 hr 45 min trip from one side of the state to the other). I would feed Maggie lunch. Take her to Miranda's for the afternoon. I would then head to St. Augustine (about2 hours and 45 minutes Northeast) Here is the timeline via my cell phone texts from Mom who was in St.Augustine at the hosptial.

12:24 on Tuesday Morning: HOME.

Once I arrived Mom, Dad and Cathy (Laurel's Mom) all there waiting on pins and needles. They informed me that when you hear a chime of Rock A Bye baby that means a baby is born! And of course they had their eyes glued on the labor and delivery door. Thank goodness we were the only family out in the waiting room cause we are such a loud bunch. Less than 40 minutes after I arrived. We heard this famous chime and just squeeled with delight. Mom actually ran up to the main doors and about busted them down, but a couple of "Liz, Liz, Get Back Here" from my dad and she stood vigil.
About 15 minutes later Johnny came out and with tears in his eyes told us Olivia is here and is perfect. Laurel was doing fine. We all hugged and he ran back in.
