Today we went and saw a movie "BOOK OF ELI". Good movie, decent plot. Mike's choice.
We went to church and heard an emotional speech about one of the ministries that our church helps called Respa. I teared up because it talked about Alzheimer's. What a heartbreaking disease. The homily also reflected on Corinthians's verse. The priest suggested that couples should read this verse on their one year anniversary and replace the word "LOVE" with the word "I". Try it, it's good stuff.
Love is patient; love is kind. Love is not jealous, it does not put on airs, it is not snobbish. Love is never rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not prone to anger; neither does it brood over injuries. Love does not rejoice in what is wrong but rejoices with the truth. There is no limit to love's forbearance, to its trust, its hope, its power to endure.
Love never fails.
